I am not a recruiter

Updated: May 29, 2022

I want to make that clear from the start. I don't work for a recruiting agency or a conglomerate of schools. I don't have a list of jobs to fill, matching teaching candidates with schools in order to earn a commission.

Who am I, then? A former international teacher and school leader of 20+ years who is extremely familiar with all facets of teaching overseas in international schools. This includes the time-consuming, seemingly never-ending, and often frustrating task of finding the next teaching position.

Which brings me to the point of this blog post and website: I wish I'd had access to someone like me when I was job hunting. An expert who had seen it all, offering tips and tricks, giving advice, and generally helping out when I was at a loss on how to move forward. Someone completely accessible and in my corner, who could help me put my best foot forward, tweaking my CV and cover letter to stand out from my competition, preparing me to feel confident and worthy during job interviews, and ultimately helping me decipher the teaching contract and benefits package on offer.

The good news is you are not alone. I have posted some of my best-kept trade secrets here in this blog, as well as sending job search Tips o' the Week to my clients and subscribers of my website. I am 100% dedicated to helping you in your search for your next international teaching position. You can reach out to me here.
